At Rachel Remington Studio, we believe every space—inside and out—should feel like a reflection of the people who call it home. Based in the scenic heart of Dahlonega, Georgia, with projects spanning from Vail, Colorado to Naples, Florida, our studio blends artistry, craftsmanship, and a deep respect for nature into timeless spaces that tell a story.

Founded by Remington Collins, the studio was born from a lifelong immersion in design. Remington grew up surrounded by creativity—watching her mother, Tracey Smith’s, 25-year career in fine arts and interior design unfold, learning the language of color, texture, and form from an early age. Her own journey began with painting murals through business college, before moving into landscape and farm design, where she managed and curated 25 acres of seed-to-table gardens under the guidance of a master gardener.

Her work with Outdoor Makeover and Living Spaces in Buckhead, followed by collaborations with custom home builders across North Georgia and Atlanta, brought a natural evolution: blending the artistry of interior design with the structure and harmony of outdoor living. This unique balance of experiences laid the foundation for Rachel Remington Studio—a full-service design firm that unites interior and exterior design into one cohesive vision.

Every project begins with understanding a client’s lifestyle and story. Whether designing a sunlit kitchen that connects seamlessly to an outdoor patio, or curating organic materials for a mountain retreat, Remington’s approach is guided by authenticity, function, and timeless beauty.

As one of five children born in different states, Remington’s sense of “home” has always transcended geography—it’s about creating spaces that feel grounded, intentional, and uniquely personal. She adores incorporating all elements of design, from native plantings and natural textures to modern architecture and artful interiors, crafting spaces that resonate for years to come.
